Concert

2024: The music world celebrates the 200th birthday of Bedřich Smetana.
His rarely performed symphonic poems Richard III. Op. 11, Wallenstein's Camp Op. 14 and Hakon Jarl Op. 16, which he composed during his time as a conductor of the Philharmonic concerts in Gothenburg, Sweden, shed an interesting light on this composer. They point ahead to the cycle "My Fatherland" as well as to his operas based on historical-legendary subjects. In this context, the Smetana Philharmonic Prague are putting together some very interesting programs for 2023/24 and 2024/25.
As a soloist we would like to point out the young, highly talented Italian pianist Gabriele Strata.
